Abstract

The visit of Professor Stephan should aid the development of new models and the evaluation of non-functional properties as well as methods for service selection in service oriented architectures. The development and application of these models and methods will be explored in WSARCH (http://wsarch.lasdpc.icmc.usp.br). The selection of services in a distributed environment can optimize flows or degrade service composition. At this stage of architecture, the problem of service composition and dynamic generation of execution flows not yet been addressed. So, are expected great contributions from visiting professor and his research group in relation to issues of service composition and selection algorithms for web services. (AU)
