Abstract
The objective of this research is to study and develop technologies for power electronics converters, that are necessary to connect distributed generation systems to the grid and using LCL filters, especially for photovoltaic generation. The research methodology is based on theoretical and experimental studies, whose results will be analyzed and compared. It will emphasize the modeling and control of such converters with the approach of advanced control techniques, such as analysis of multivariable systems, robust control LQG / LTR, state estimation by Kalman filter, in order to improve performance control of these converters. It will produce a prototype of power electronic converter for photovoltaic generation systems of 7.5kVA, for testing, which will be connected to the grid through an LCL filter, satisfying all the conditions imposed by the Brazilian and the IEEE norms for distributed generation. The development of this converter will involve knowledge and studies in the areas of control, power electronics, electronic instrumentation and digital signal processing. (AU)
