Abstract The interest in the investigation of structures that allow the integration of alternative energy sources as a way of generation has been encouraged by regulators and the Ministry of Mines and Energy in order to minimize the effects of the energy crisis. Thus, the connection of distributed generation systems (DG) using DC-AC converters are the target of intense research in order to develop solutions to the problems of instability and detection of contingencies when distributed generation systems operate in connected networks distribution. In this context, this research project aims to develop a methodology for connecting DG systems in distribution networks using DC-AC (multilevel). With this purpose is proposed in this project, the use of wavelet transform and neuro-fuzzy algorithms for the detection and identification of contingencies so that the energy produced by alternative sources and processed by electronic device has quality within the standards established by national and international standards and islanding situations can be characterized and differentiated, especially when compared to maneuvering load. At the end of project implementation, it is expected that the results obtained provide grants to electric utilities and auto-producers and power producers to connect distributed generation systems in distribution networks, as well as the necessary procedures (detection and identification) to be adopted when the distribution system is under islanding. | |
