Abstract

The aim of this project is to study few-nucleon systems using effective nuclear forces obtained from the SRG flow equation. We intend to use several momentum-space NN potentials and evolve with the SRG the partial waves required to a variational calculation of light nuclei binding energies. This study also includes the propagation of the errors obtained by the Granada group to the binding energies. We will also study the perturbatibility of pions by evolving separately the short, mid and long range parts of the Granada potential with the SRG. In the project we are about to finish, we started to investigate the infrared limit of the SRG using a Toy model for the S-wave of the two-nucleon system which allow us to approach very small scales ». We also made some progress with the renormalization with multiple subtractions by going to the forth order in quiral perturbation theory (N3LO). Thus, in this project, we will continue both the study of the infrared limit of the SRG and the study of the Callan-Symanzik flow equation with the N3LO chiral forces in several channels of the NN system.
