Abstract

The tissue health is critical to the patients' clinical management. In the last years, the increment of the molecular biology knowledge reveled the exosomes as a noninvasive diagnostic strategy with power to analyze the tissue physiology. RNA detection with diagnostic purpose can overcome the traditional methods. Although less controversy follows the hypothyroidism treatment, the real need of T3 reposition with T4 dilemma and the subclinical disease controversy persist. Many steps are necessary to the thyroid hormone actions and any modification of this complex system can alter the T3 tissue response. Altered expression of 16 genes was found in blood samples of Graves Disease patients. Our goal is to identify differential expressed genes in healthy people and in hypothyroidism patients. Exosomes will be extracted and analyzed through whole genomic expression chip. The differential expressed genes will be validated in silica and in vivo. (AU)
