Abstract

Motivated by two data sets, one from the Institute of Cancer of São Paulo and the other from the Heart Institute-FMUSP, the project aims to expand the joint modeling of survival and longitudinal data considering a generalization of the Birnbaum-Saunders distribution and, possibly, more general functional structures for the mixed model. It will also be considered the development of a statistical procedure to assist in the construction of Cox-Aalen model with respect to allocation of covariates in the model. (AU)
