Abstract

The activities to be carried out by Prof. Alain Grosrichard in São Paulo, from 22/09 to 28/09, will have double character: 1. Academic: 1.1. Conference at the PUCSP: Freud explained by Rousseau. 1.2. Seminar at the PUCSP: analyze what the author of the Social contract due to his Venetian experience, starting from a well-known passage of book IX of the Confessions. 1.3. Seminar at the Department of philosophy of the University of São Paulo: analyze what the musician and music theorist, Jean-Jacques Rousseau, also due to your stay in Venice, from another passage of the Confessions, in Book VIII. 1.4. Seminar at UNIFESP: resume the two previous discussions from a note, which figure in the third of the letters written on the mount, in which Rousseau relates a memory that goes back to your stay in Venice. 2. Editorial: work meeting of Prof. Alain Grosrichard Brazilian translators team participating in the new issue of Oeuvres Complètes de Rousseau, published by Éditions Garnier, and responsible for the translation and critical apparatus of the controversy concerning the discourse on the sciences and the arts, Luiz Fernando Franklin de Mattos, Mary Constance Peres Pissarra and Maria das Graças de Souza. At that meeting, shall be the delivery of the texts already in French, in the final version for publication. Activities in São Luís, Maranhão: how was UFMA explained in Justification, Prof. A.
