Abstract

This concerns a thematic project, which, theoretically based on the recuperation of classic sociologists such as Tönnies and Simmel and informed by contemporary critical sociology, stems from the evidence that theoretical advances and development itself of the groups of recent sociabilities are about to reveal a kind of unoccupied space between social psychology (whose analyses suppose naturally a constituted individual and referred to any community) and the sociology of groups (which, in turn, takes them as constituted and existing by relationship to their components) which, from a perspective, arise from the existential loneliness of the individual, and, from the other, take them as massified elements. This involves, based on concrete studies of sociability, the mapping, qualification and establishment of a typification of the verifiable forms of sociability in the city of São Paulo, especially the non-compulsory ones, verifying through inter-group relationships their influence on the orientation of collective actions and on the reference for the formation of personal values and actions.
