Abstract

In the case of endodontic failure, one of the resources for the resolution is the Endodontic retreatment. During root canal desobturation, can be used solvents to dissolv the material and facilitate its removal. Numerous methods of desobturation have being proposed, using nickel-Titanium instruments. The Nickel-titanium alloys has been suffering thermal treatment seeking greater flexibility in the League. Another important factor in retreatment is cleaning of waste material and debris in istmus and anfractuosity areas. However the agitation of the irrigate solution or solvent can favor the removal of material. The objective of the project will be analysed by microtomography uand confocal microscopy, the ability of desobturation of nickel titanium instruments with different treatments of the League and different movements. Another objective will be to analyze the antimicrobial effect of the solvent of gutta-percha in biofilms in situ. Will be analyzed the effect of ultrasonic agitation of the solvent or sodium hypochlorite to clean the root canal. So 4 subprojects will be developed. (AU)
