Abstract

The visit of Dr. Higgins will aim quantitative textural measurements in basaltic samples from the Paraná Magmatic Province. These studies have the potential to unravel the complex evolutionary processes, such as, magma mixing, polybaric crystallization, heterogeneous nucleation rates, among many others. (AU)
