Abstract

The Hospital of Central Institute of the Faculty of Medicine, University of São Paulo has 46 operating rooms, located on the 6th, 7th, 9th and 10th floor of the building of the Clinics. Surgical schedules are sorted by surgical size and complexity. Performed monthly on average in 2500 surgeries.Currently the rooms of the Surgical Center are equipped with computers and various medical hospital equipment, but these computers are obsolete and need to change because they are used for image analysis and results of medical examinations, among other essential activities every operating room.
