Abstract

Here we report the complete polyprotein sequence of a Dengue 2 strain isolated in Brazil. This virus belong to the American genotype and has the ability to cause neurovirulence in immunocompetent adult mice. The data presented here may help to the understanding of the genetic determinants responsible for neurovirulence. (AU)
