Abstract
We propose to organize a school on Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) in Structural Biology at the Institute of Chemistry of the University of São Paulo. The school will be divided in three sections. The first two correspond to introductory NMR courses that will follow the scheme usually adopted by the Brazilian NMR Users Association (AUREMN). In these sections, Brazilian scientists will give lectures on the very basics of NMR theory. The third section is advanced. It is based on the traditional EMBO courses on multidimensional NMR that are organized every year in Europe. Internationally recognized scientists, who usually lecture on the European EMBO courses, will give the lectures. All lectures will be concentrated in the mornings followed by sessions of exercises and discussions during the afternoons. One afternoon was chosen for a poster session. The school will have the support of the Brazilian NMR Users Association (AUMREN). (AU)
