Abstract

This project aims to develop a new strategy and new consumer promotion mechanisms for sustainable products and services by improving communication between suppliers and consumers. It is intended to facilitate and establish new communication and generating business flows, valuing social relations in the local community and encouraging the marketing of products with strong environmental appeal. In this research, is taken by locus of prototyping and experimentation the school environment. The goal is to solve the difficulty of communication between parents and schools through a digital platform available for free. The tool, in addition to facilitating communication activities of educational institutions, will be particularly useful for parents organize their agendas in relation to the activities of the children and give referral to the shopping needs, such as collective snacks dates, parties, need to acquisition of materials, excursions, among others. In most schools, this communication is done by e-mails general, with some customized information to each family, or by the system of "communication book", which limits access to information for parents on the go or with a busy schedule. In this context the environment platform will serve to organize this information on children's activities, to list necessary referrals, and provide easy access to suppliers of products and sustainable services in local school community, such as organic food, sustainable school supplies, educational toys and sustainable, among others. To ensure free service for family members, opted for the adoption of a multisided business model, as it involves different stakeholders in the use of a service subsidized by financial transaction revenue streams and not by the use of licensed service. Takes up the hypothesis that the organization of the demands presented by schools in relation to purchasing needs by families associated with the organization of a number of suitable suppliers and local identity, is an environment conducive to the growth of consumer products and services meet the principles of sustainability. In confirming the hypothesis, the model can be scalable to different contexts and social demand, small and large scope, with the platform can be accessed as SaaS (Software as a Service). (AU)
