Abstract

To set up the budget of the 2016 Institutional Technical Reserve (RTI) fund, all researchers were consulted beforehand and resource allocation was decided by the group. Purchase of equipment was prioritized in accordance with our system of shared use as a core facility. Small size and value equipment will be bought since the laboratory is fully equipped and we are waiting for the construction of the new IIEP. We propose to buy a CO2-resistant shaker from Thermo that will be used in one of the cell culture room in the Experimental Research Center, currently the common area for 80% of ongoing projects.In addition, we will attend to the need of the Training and Animal Research Center (CETEC), which has acquired a large autoclave and has to adapt the space to install it. Therefore, we have included in our RTI budget, the estimated cost for the electricity and plumbing changes to permit proper and safe function of the equipment. In addition, the Radiopharmacy Laboratory at CETEC requires the acquisition of three stainless steel benches and an auxiliary table to replace the current upholstered seats, in accordance to cGMP (Good Manufacturing Procedures) detailed in paragraph 5:17 of the RDC 67/2007 from ANVISA.Consumables will be acquired throughout the project and will benefit all researchers working at the Experimental Research Center and Animal Facility.
