Abstract

The proposed QUB/FAPESP Mobility & Planning Project [Elliot (SPACE, QUB); Bonotto, (UNESP)] picks up on two research directions particularly related to the proposed overall theme of ‘Environmental Tracers for Water Resources Management'. The proposed collaborative research proposal(s) coming out of the QUBIFAPESP programme will be geared particularly towards the UK Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) in one of two directions (or both): I) applied environmental tracers for reaearation and hydrodynamic studies in the Corumbatai River basin; II) sustainable water resources in Brazilian aquifers, of more regional and global significance.
