Abstract

Dengue is considered one of the most important viral diseases, transmitted by mosquitoes, which affects humans. The dengue is caused by virus, but their transmitters are mosquitoes of the Aedes genus, popularly known as dengue mosquito. In the previous project based on mathematical models and modern control methods the dynamics of interactions between populations of the susceptible mosquitoes, infected mosquitoes and mosquitoes that limit the transmission of diseases (sterile and infected by Wolbachia mosquitoes) was studied. The optimal strategies to decrease population of the dengue vector were determined. In this project we will consider the mathematical models that describe the dynamics of the epidemic of dengue fever along with the models of interactions between populations of mosquitoes. Control strategies will be proposed to keep populations below epidemic threshold values. (AU)
