Abstract

The research described by this project aims to validate a model to quantify the maturity of lean manufacturing cells. The parameters will be raised from a literature review and grouped in thematic constructs through a meeting with four PhD in manufacturing engineering, generating an initial model to be tested. This initial model will be the basis of a questionnaire that will be filled by professionals that manage lean manufacturing cells. The data will be analyzed through structural equation modeling and it will be possible to validate a final model, identifying how each parameter affects the construct and how each construct influences the maturity of the cell. The final research results will be part of Izabela Simon Rampasso master dissertation. The total time of this project is 12 months within which two manuscripts will have been submitted to journals with Qualis/Capes classification. (AU)
