Abstract

In September 2015 the National Commission of Nuclear Energy (CNEN), IPEN management agency, began deployment of a Dissemination Plan for the use of IPv6 (Internet Protocol Version 6), to be adopted in its research units, scattered throughout the territory national (Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Belo Horizonte, among others).This plan is part of an effort by the SISP - System Resource Information Technology Administration, the Ministry of Planning, Budget and Management, for the migration from IPv4 to IPv6, by September 2018, all federal public administration.
