Abstract

For three decades of work on the health sector, it is possible to realize a great lack of registers and references supporting the development of projects and processes regarding the healthcare environments. The experience acquired by L+M allow us to have an accurate background to collect, select, register and stablish new specifications patterns for the development of those environments. Having verified and lived the complexity as well as the multitude of participants either on the elaboration or on the use of healthcare environments, we consider the register of concepts and minimum patterns of specification and technical, constructive and operational information for every environment extremely useful and necessary to back the production of projects, constructions, maintenance and also operation that will guarantee safety patterns, efficiency in addition to conformity for the healthcare environments, its users and processes. This project aim in only one fountain of information and necessities that refers to the healthcare environments and its uses in all field and areas of work, improving the systems of work and the structures of production to "deliver, maintain and operate" the healthcare environments, lowering risks, wastes, consequently raising all the processes of projects, constructions, assembly, maintenance and operations' efficiency and productivity.
