Abstract

This document presents a proposal for the use of funds from the Technical Reserve of Institutional Research Infrastructure of IPUSP. It is a plan to support the maintenance and improvement of collective infrastructure to support Research, consisting of three actions: 1 - Data Network; 2 - Wireless Network and 3 - Internationalization of Scientific Production.The grant will be used to meet the research infrastructure needs listed below, creating the conditions for the expansion and improvement of IPUSP research support infrastructure.The installed capacity of research today in this Institute there are 51 research labs with projects that need data network infrastructure, Wireless coverage to access the information necessary to carry out the research work, as well as translation services of scientific production, aiming at Its dissemination in the scientific environment privileging the process of internationalization of this production.The existing data network does not cover all the laboratories of the Unit, nor does it have the necessary agility to match the installed research volume. Therefore, this resource allocation plan will enable the universalization of access to the information necessary for the development of excellence research in IPUSP.In addition, the expansion of the number of international agreements of academic cooperation, currently formalized with 16 countries, has required the expansion of the internationalization of scientific production through scientific articles published in foreign journals or by Brazilian journals of excellence, books, Chapters of books that express the collective work of research developed through international cooperation.
