How to improve athletic performance without increasing the physical exertion? In order to improve performance of athetes from the formation to the high-performance, this project aims to develop interactive computational methods for perceptual and cognitive training. Based on neuroscience and experimental psychology fields, the methods are also intended to assist in the diagnosis and future recovery of concussions, common injuries in sports where there is physical contact. The team, made up of professionals in neuroscience, sports psychology, sports performance, medicine, and computational and artificial intelligence, will be responsible for the development of the product and the translational science, implementing the results from laboratory to real situations. The project aims, in addition to providing relevant data to the scientific literature of sports perception and cognition, bringing to market a unique product, providing results and neurological health care of a broad segment of the population.
