Abstract

This research project aims at studying topics in sampled-data and switched systems analysis and control. From a practical viewpoint, both classes of dynamic systems are of great interest in the control theory community due to their wide adoption in engineering problems. On the other hand, from a theoretical point of view, analysing and designing such systems are challenging tasks, since it is not always possible to obtain easily verifiable conditions. Since the candidate has already tackled problems in both areas during his PhD, this project aims to fill some existing gaps in the literature, which were pointed out by the candidate in previous work.
