Abstract

The Federal University of ABC (UFABC) is one of the new Brazilian federal universities, created by Law 11,145, on July 26, 2005. For this reason,Reason, the support of development agencies is essential for the development of research at the intended level of excellence. In the present proposal, we present a project for the use of the Institutional Infrastructure Costs for the Center for Mathematics, Computing and Cognition (CMCC). This proposal focuses on the rebuilding of the Computing and Robotics Laboratory and the Neurochemistry and Neurobiology Laboratories, as well as the acquisition of storage disks for the Scientific Computing Sector and a new printer for the Laboratory of Mathematical Physics. The proposal also aims to foster a new line of research with Zebra Fish. Obtaining the equipment, making the infrastructure adjustments and acquiring the goods described in this project will be fundamental for the improvement of the institutional conditions for the research of the Center of Mathematics, Computing and Cognition.
