Abstract

The Regional Blood Center of Ribeirão Preto is a center of medical care, education and research linked to the School of Medicine of Ribeirão Preto. It holds the CTC- Center for Cell-based Therapy- CEPID-FAPESP and INCTC - National Institute of Science and Technology in Stem Cell and Cell Therapy in Cancer - CNPq/FAPESP. The Hemocentro Foundation of Ribeirão Preto has independent administration, but is supported by the University of São Paulo, the Hospital of the Ribeirão Preto Medical School and the São Paulo Secretariat of Health. The Regional Blood Center has 11.804 m2 of construction area, 5.217 m2 of this area will be used for INCTC activities. In this area, research laboratories, areas designed to educational activities (House of Science, MuLEC, TV Hemocentro, classrooms) and areas for administrative support are included. This project aims to adapt the area of research laboratories, under the waste electrical installations and upgrade and install network infrastructure of the Data Processing Center to meet the growing demand for researchers, teachers, students and administrative support.
