Abstract
This project aims the investigation of trajectories for missions to asteroids in the context of many-body dynamics. Initially, the role of the invariant manifolds of the Restricted Three-Body Problem will be explored by means of both analytical and numerical approach, using Dynamical Systems tools, in order to determine preliminary profiles for missions to asteroids. Specifically, our goal is to investigate the applicability of invariant structures associated to regions of effective stability around the triangular equilibria, for different missions to asteroids, such as, orbiting, capture, and transport missions.
