Abstract

We intend to implement and test, using data from Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS), a photometric redshift estimator based on the Locally Weighted Regression method and that includes priors on, for instance, the expected redshift distribution in a sample limited by magnitude. This estimator will be used later to search for galaxy clusters at high redshifts in the SDSS database.
