Abstract

The present proposal investigates the application of new techniques of become available information about the enlace states of in control plane of optic network. The current control plane are based on the flooding mechanism, where packages contend information about enlace state are propagated by all network. We identify that such mechanism would not be most appropriate for this application, sometimes this mechanism can generate delays and until inconsistencies in the update of the enlace states, being unable some services. We propose the application of the search and storage techniques of archives, consecrated in peer-to-peer applications, to store and distribute information about the enlace states in optic networks. We will use a net overlay with Small-World topology to become available these information, because its present interesting characteristics, as seen for us in previous works. We expected with this work to present a control plane more efficient where the information are more trusty and are gotten more quickly without generating too much traffic in the network.
