Abstract

It is proposed in this plan to develop a set of logical equations referred to each control and protection devices in the protection philosophy used by the engineers for allocation protection devices on power energy systems. The logical equation set of different control and protection types of the system must be related by logical inference models and/or mathematical model according to the alarms available on the control centers to allow a correct fault diagnosis on the system or on the system components. On this approach the fault diagnosis must be treated in a centralized way, based on information contained on the reports generated by SCADA system or another similar management system. (AU)
