Abstract

This research project consider the theoretical analyses and computational implementation of the transmission system planning problem when such problems as the ones related with the reliability of the expanded system and the uncertainties in the future demand are considered. Thus, the system must be expanded in a way that the operation in the planning horizon is safe, considering reliability constraints and also the uncertainties in the future demand.
