Abstract

Ventos estelares são observados em praticamente todo o diagrama HR, das estrelas anãs do tipo solar até as supergigantes quentes e massivas na seqüência principal (ver por exemplo Lamers and Cassinelli 1999). Em particular, ventos radiativos são observados em estrelas supergigantes quentes, estrelas Wolf-Rayet (WR) e estrelas centrais de nebulosas planetárias (ECNP), tanto naquelas com núcleos ricos em H, como naquelas com núcleos do tipo WR. Os ventos desses objetos são devidos essencialmente ao processo de absorção da pressão da radiação estelar em átomos e íons abundantes nos envelopes, um processo que, em principio, depende da metalicidade. Neste projeto, pretende-se estudar os ventos das estrelas centrais, em particular com relação às metalicidades observadas nas estrelas e nas nebulosas. Lamers, H. J. G. L. M., Cassinelli, J.
