Abstract

This project proposes a dialogue between theatrical creation process and teacher formation process, both conceived as possibilities, as forms in action. This research is focused on the relation among memory, theatre and teacher formation. We intend to research the theatrical practices as propeller of remind and re-meaning school experiences lived by teacher in formation process, that will end with a public presentation of a play that will be create collectively from experiences that will be remind by those students and that will participate of their reflection and actions about being a teacher. Those theatrical practical will take place during four semesters, with two student groups of a Visual Arts Course of Unicamp. Those students will be coursing two disciplines during the theatrical practices. The aim of this research is to identify the potentiality of the theatrical language as a way of expression and re-meaning the school memories of the future teachers. I suppose that the theatrical elements as aesthetic knowledge will imprint some specificity to the ways by which some lived experiences are reminded and re-meant, contributing to the pedagogic practices of those students. The principal theoretical frame is teaching formation studies related to the memory issue, the aesthetical and philosophical theory of Walter Benjamin and studies about theatrical creation, principally those with a collaborative process of creation, and those that are made in the relation between theatre and memory.
