Abstract

The professional guidance is to provide a set of information on the profile of the subject's personality and other characteristics, in order to assist the adolescents with regard to difficulties in professional choice. From this perspective, the Psychology contributes with tests of psychological assessment assigned to generate hypotheses and inferences that aim to help a healthy and adjusted choice. The present study it has as objective to identify the relationship between the career indecision and characteristics of personality of students, taking into consideration the need for studies in the field of psychological assessment, especially in the field of professional guidance. For that will be used to survey the "Inventário de Levantamento das Dificuldades da Decisão Profissional" (IDDP) and the "Bateria Fatorial de Personalidade" (BFP). The research in question will have beginning after the approval of the Ethics' Committee of Universidade São Francisco. After that contact with the collaborating institutions will be made. They will go to participate approximately 150 students of 14 20 years of all series of high school. In the present study, it is intended to evaluate the descriptive statistics of the instruments and the sample; hold the Pearson correlation, between IDDP and BFP; Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) between series and ages of participants; than the difference in average (t Student) between the genders.
