Abstract

Atta genera are considered between the most important plagues, such in Agricultural, pasture and reforesting program, since they defoliate the plants reducing their productivity or killing them. Thus, studies that can control specifically leaf-cutting ant without alter the environment is highly recommended. This project has as subject to obtain natural products with insecticide and/or fungitoxic activities and/or pectinases inhibitors and to obtain organometalic complexes of the actives compounds in order to amply their biological activity or to became them available in the action place. These studies will contribute with Atta sexdens rubropilosa control. Specifically will be done a biomonitored study of Astronium juglandifolium in order to obtain insecticide, fungitoxic or pectinases inhibitors natural compounds; to contribute with the quimiosystematic of the genera Astronium and the family Anacardiaceae, since they are few studied under chemical point of view; and to synthesize the metalic complexes with the active compounds.
