Abstract

The present project refers to the elaboration of a Waste Management Plan at the APTA Experimental Farm, Piracicaba, São Paulo,which will be coordenated by the Chemical Waste Manager Group of CENA/USP. Previously surveys involving a quali-quantitative caracterization of the active and passive wastes, generator sources, will contribute to orientate the actions to be adopted, pointing up the protocols development for treatment and destination of chemical wastes, selective collection implementation and the achievement of viability studies, focusing the analytical procedures replacement or even at own organizational culture of the institution. For this, it will be necessary to establish a program of training and environmental education focusing the auto-sustainability of the manager plan.
