The auxiliary exams in the diagnoses of the illnesses are centered in the diagnosis by image that you/they are limited to the use of the conventional x-ray and of the ultrassonography Today with the progress of the new diagnosis techniques for image has been using more advanced protocols as the Computerized Tomography (TC) and the Magnetic Resonance (MRI), techniques that has as main advantage on the traditionally used until the moment of avoiding the superimposition the anatomical structures. Today the veterinary clinic of chelonian comes across the literature lack regarding the anatomy normal imaginology of these encourage, that it is the base for comparison analysis for the diagnosis for image of the alterations that attack them. The present study has as objective supplies anatomical descriptions and tomography of the skeleton apendicular of the jabutipiranga (Geochelone carbonaria), through helical TC, method no invasive and fast in adult animals, of different sizes, age, sex and weight propitiating like this, subsidies for you practice medicine them veterinary and zoos that need more necessary information for evaluation of the possible bone lesions that you/they attack them.
