Abstract

The international trade of merchandises exerts a decisive influence in the configuration and uses of the domestic territories. The changes introduced in the Brazilian territory in last the twenty years point with respect to this narrow verified relation enter the process of territorial modernization and of magnifying of the capacities of circulation of merchandises and the entailed capitals to the foreign commerce. We attend, of a side, the magnifying of the material base - modernization of the transport ways, ports and airports - responsible for the necessary territorial fluidity for the draining of products. In this process, the logistic one assumes a decisive role in the determination of the competitiveness of the agents of the international trade. Parallel, a set of public and private institutions promotes - by means of decrees, laws, agreements and programs of promotion - the renewal of the normative-institucional base, charged of the regulation of this movement of exportation and importation. One is about the constitution of the technician-scientific-informacional way in Brazil. In this context, trading companies gains prominence in the current Brazilian territorial dynamics. In this manner, the present study searchs to undertake a critical reflection concerning the performance of these companies specialized in foreign commerce located in the city of São Paulo, attempting against itself for the sócioespacial dynamism whom tradings they print in the circuits of the regional urban economy, as well as for the agents who participate of this process.
