Abstract In this project we intend to study some strongly disordered quantum systems using the Strong Disorder Renormalization Group (SDRG) technique. The systems of interest can be divided in two classes. The first one consists of anisotropic spin systems with both ferro- and antiferromagnetic interactions. In the second class we will focus on generic strongly correlated electron systems within mean-field theory descriptions of various kinds. In both cases, we want to enlarge the range of systems analyzed with the SDRG. Our final goal is the determination of the phase diagrams and physical properties of these systems, in one and possibly more dimensions, and the nature of the transitions between the phases. (AU) | |
