Abstract

The objetive of this Project is to evaluate the lipid accumulation of cyanobacteria from culture with different compositions and initiate a culture fed cassava. Initially, the composition will be determined for cassava determined. The growth kinetics and substrate consumption o organic carbon sources exogenous (arabinose, fructose, glucose, xylose, galactose, lactose, maltose, mannose, sucrose, trehalose, cassava starch, carboxymethylcellulose, lactose, hi-maize®, Maltodextrin 1805® and xylan) will be individually analyzed for heterotrophic cultures of cyanobacteria in bioreactors. Optimization of biomass production will be analyzed, as well as conditions of lipid accumulation. The lipids accumulated in steps resulting from cultivation in bioreactors will be evaluated based on quality parameters and analyze using empirical equations and compared to standards of ANP and international standards.
