Abstract

Due to the recent experimental observation of vortices in our Bose-Einstein condensate after the application of an external oscillatory perturbation, we will develop in this work numeric and semi-analytical techniques to simulate the dynamic of condensate with vortices, allowing explain the experimental observations. Our experiments also would become possible the verification of the turbulent regime, until now only observed in liquid Helium system. Our project will hold also the developing of new theoretical tools to study the quantum turbulence in condensates. Besides that, we will analyze the behavior of a system with vortices and turbulence involving a mixture of two different species of condensates. The group of answers found in these studies will provide new experimental ideas to the investigation of a variety of conditions, including the decayment of the quantum turbulence.
