We shall investigate the oscillations of compact stars containing quark matter phases in their interior. We shall develop a computational code to solve the equations of non-radial oscillations in the context of general relativity. These studies are relevant from the observational point of view because the oscillations could be observed in the microstructure of the emission profile of certain pulsars. Another important factor is that the oscillations can be intense sources of gravitational waves of high frequency. This should allow to find observational constraints to the existence of quark phases inside compact stars.
