Abstract

This work puts into question the importance of reviewing the semiotics which is in Duval's theory Semiotic Representation Registers. Thus, this project aims to examine the relationship between Peirce's semiotic theory and the theory of registers of semiotic representation of Raymond Duval. To account this purpose we intend to treat as "background" the concepts of analytic geometry in order to illustrate the theories in question. Furthermore, we propose a literature search procedures with qualitative analysis that will consist of three stages, data collection, data processing and preparation of scientific text. This project presents, initially, Peircean semiotics. Then, presents succinctly, the theory of semiotic representation and record of research on linear algebra, geometry and analytic geometry. With this research is expected as product an analysis of the relationship between Peirce's semiotic theory and the theory of registers of semiotic representation of Raymond Duval. (AU)
