Abstract

Autism is a developmental disorder that can result from etiologics differents factors, among which it includes aspects genetics and psychics. Recents researches indicate that the risk of a sibling of an autistic child to be also autistic is from 4 to 7 greater than in the general population (TARDIF, GEPNER, 2007). This research aims to detect, from zero to eighteen months of life, signs of risk of developmental disorders in siblings of autistic children, using the instrument Clinical Risk Indicators in Child Development - IRDI (LERNER, KUPFER, 2008; KUPFER et al., 2009) and the PREAUT scale (LAZNIK, 2000, CRESPIN, 2004), in a cohort composed by French and Brazilian children.
