Abstract

Abiotic and biotic stresses in imature soybean plants, including the presence of nematodes, resulting in premature death or forced maturation and may produce green seeds. This study will aim to assess the presence of Meloidogyne javanica and Pratylenchus brachyurus on soybean plants and the relationship with the occurrence of green seeds and the seed physiological potential. The first experiment will be conducted using a soybean cultivar (susceptible to the nematodes), which will be subjected to different treatments of initial nematodes inoculum and the plants will be evaluated for growth, flowering and yield, dry matter and seeds for physiological potential. In the second experiment will be used four soybean cultivars and treatments will be selected from the first experimental results.After harvesting, the seeds were be subjected to moisture content, physiological potential (germination test, tetrazolium, accelerated aging, electrical conductivity, seedling emergence in the field and computerized image analysis of seedlings), and green seeds occurrence (visual method and chlorophyll fluorescence) determinations. The experimental design is randomized and the averages will be compared by Tukey test (0.05).
