Abstract

"Analysis of messages posted by the Green Party on the twitter: the case of Marina Silva" is a study with the aim of analyze and understand how the Partido Verde (PV) use this recourse as a disseminator of the ideals of the legend and the repercussions of these messages in the 2010 elections, in dispute over the presidency of the country. The aim of this work doesn't is to study the policy, but the communication in the service of politics by means of a relatively new recourse. The PV is the third biggest party in the presidential race, taking into account the party coalitions; and the bet of the acronym is in the virtual campaigning. This project, based virtual ethnographic methodology, will review the messages posted by the party and by Marina Silva, possible candidate, recorded from September to October 2010, time when the campaign will use the traditional media (radio and television) to disseminate candidates and their programs. The analysis will seek to understand how new communication tools, specifically Twitter, can help to establish new forms of communication and how they can influence social participation.
