Abstract

This project proposes the creation of a combat model and to compare inter/intra-opponent interactions in technical and tactical actions of judo combats. For this, the sample will be composed by 14 groups of judo athletes (i.e., male and female senior class, and all seven weight categories). Wrestlers and their opponents will be analyzed using FRAMI® software, validated for combat analysis (MIARKA, CALMET, FRANCHINI, 2009), in international tournaments held in Brazil, namely: two Grand Slams and a World Cup. The analysis will be performed by observing interactions and the opposition of technical actions and tactical situations during attack or defense, through the following variables: i) temporal structure of combat, ii) execution and direction of attacks, iii) score quantification; iv) type of defense; v) type of grip, and vi) trunk inclination in defensive situations. Descriptive statistics will be performed through calculations of mean and standard deviation (SD) of variables. To verify the modulation of the correlation between combat and technical-tactical actions according to the probability of pattern distributions stochastic processes will be used (Markov Chains). To investigate the differences within and between opponent, comparisons will be conducted for stock models and standards through technical and tactical variance analysis. When significant differences by analysis of variance are found, a post hoc test will be considered, with significance level value of 5% (p <0.05). (AU)
