Abstract

From the theoretical and methodological perspective of french Discourse Analysis (DA), we bring the entanglement of the subject up, with the historicity and the fickle crossings in the language: Ideology and unconscious make the subject a subject of discourse, not only an empirical individual, but a subject of language, so divided, wandering, plural, capable of bringing the dead to life and mortifying the living. According to Freud, the subject operates in language (un)sticking representations and object, in other words, dislocating and condensing, he makes metaphor and metonymy, turning the words into porous and heterogeneous instances. We bet it's by the ideology that the subject finds evidences of sense and starts to naturalize them and for this there is a necessary silencing for the senses may emerge and connect themselves in a certain way and not another: so it's possible to human "mortify" the "living" and "bring the dead to life". From this project, we are interested in researching a discoursive place which inscribes the child-doll (reborn-babies) like living, where the dead is put in discourse as living, it's covered in living, it's inscribed in the social as a living. This phenomenon of "reborn babies" evokes voices in contemporary culture that encourage us to interpret, rescuing the historicity and listening to the private discourses of this discoursive place. We asked: which senses are constructed through this practice of "caretakers" of "reborn babies"? What is spoken and unspoken about the reborn babies, on the social practice that is estabilished when someone takes care of a reborn? What does this means in our modernity? Could we consider it as a representative new symptom of some women in our culture? How long and where this practice has been dispersed, naturalized? What is the historicty that supports this new "practice"? How the childhood is presented in this context of playing with dolls? Is there a boundary that separates the play and the reality? How the amusement/care is put in discourse in language of these people that takes care of reborn babies? Is there an erasure of alterity and thus a silencing of the real child? What are the emerging features in a DF and how this is articulated in relation to the conditions in which the discourse is produced? These and other questions will be able to be the investigative motto for our research in order to achieve our specific aims for this work, namely: discuss some theoretical concepts of DA entangled in a corpus of research that starts with a project of doctorate going through the silence, which is raised to a concept for being applied and considered a component of the meaning processes; archive, considered in broad sense (Archive and files) and the subject, that we understand as a discoursive position and an effect of language and not as an empirical individual or a person. Besides, we'll identify how these conceptions resonate in discourses of the reborn babies caretakers, of the media (in the voices of journalists, writers) and some "psy" professionals (psychologists, psychoanalysts, psychiatrists) who take a stand on the matter (in discourses collected on the media).
