Abstract

This project intends to investigate the young people who have just entered at Universidade de São Paulo, through their socioeconomics data, collected along the Fundação para o Vestibular (FUVEST). It intends to recover this profile through a historical series which comprehends the period immediately earlier than to actions related to the inclusion programs, to a maximum of the year of 2011.The purpose is to search the profile of these young students and to understand better the heterogeneity that characterizes this population in the different courses, and to question homogenizing visions which characterize the USP only as university-oriented elites. It also intends to search, through the years, possible changes in the social composition of students since the adoption of actions which facilitate the inclusion.
