Abstract

The steady increase of international events that it discusses the different views between nations, especially when the issue involves conflicts interfering with daily life, it is unquestionable fact. In contemporary society, increasingly globalized, a problem caused in a part of the world is felt and discussed throughout the world, especially when a conflict is no longer an internal matter and is to involve different actors, the changing international agenda. Under this assumption, this project aims to analyze the Colombian conflict, with the pillar to the theory of Complex Interdependence. The objective is to examine the implications of domestic conflict in neighboring Colombia's Amazon region. We intend to verify and show how the theory of Nye and Keohane applies to the study of conflict between the countries involved, taking as its departure and the need for multidisciplinary cooperation and greater coordination of efforts between the countries involved.
