Abstract

This project aims to report the research activities of the Department of Agroindustry, Foods and Nutrition of the College of Agriculture Luiz de Queiroz (ESALQ), part of the University of Sao Paulo (USP). To reach this goal, news and other journalistic texts will be published in the electronic magazine ComCiencia (www.comciencia.br) and, eventually, in other means of communication. The mentioned magazine is developed by the Laboratory of Advanced Studies in Journalism (Labjor), of the University of Campinas (Unicamp). The expected result is to reduce the distance between the scientific practice and the society, broadening its channels of communication. (AU)
